We often need to get creative in the kitchen, especially when creating recipes for pureed food. When regular food molds just won’t do – or you don’t have any –  take a look around your kitchen and see what else you can use instead.  How about ramekins, coffee mugs, wine glasses,  nesting bowls (you know, the ones that get really small?) or plastic food storage containers?  Looking at old items in new ways may inspire you to get creative!
We’ve used popsicle molds, a heart-shaped cookie cutter and a 15 ounce can with both ends cut off to make the following recipes:

Frozen Raspberry Banana Blast
Chocolate Banana Sweetheart
Avocado Chick Pea Salad (this recipe is available in our cookbook)
